How can I Conserve energy in my arm when I throw a whole game?
It’s nearing the end of the season, and tomorrow is a big game for us. But my problem is that after the 1st inning my arm already starts to fall off. At the begining of the year, I didn’t have that problem. But now my arm gets tiered easily and I loose all my energy. So how can I Conserve Energy before and during the game without giving up some zip on my fastball?
To be honest, if your arm feels that bad after one inning, you probably shouldn’t pitch at all tomorrow. You need to make sure in the future you are warming your arm up slowly but completely before giving max effort. It sounds like you are not warming up correctly or your mechanics is straining your arm excessively. Also, you should never try to throw as hard as you can every time or you will “throw out your arm”.
Talk to your coach about your hurting arm. If he has no advice, go to another coach who does.
