Connecticut Democratic Party’s Agenda for Quality Of Life   by Barkley Barton

The Connecticut Democratic Party looks to keep their commitment for strong and loyal leadership• “something they feel the Republican Party hasn’t implemented. They have the belief that public service should override service of self.
They feel that the government is responsible for protection of their citizens. They also believe that the government should keep finances in order and maintaining responsibility at the same time. They Party looks to improved the quality of life for all of the residents of the state of Connecticut.
The Connecticut Democratic Party looks to have equal representation for all residents of the state according to the laws. They feel that no person, no matter what their race, gender, disability, or sexual orientation should be discriminated against in any form or fashion.
The Party is committed to having a budget that is fair and balanced. The budget should refrain from spending funds frivolously. They also look forward to the end of the war in Iraq, but in the meantime support the military that are serving there.
The Connecticut Democratic Party seeks to make sure that all residents have their basic needs met. They also want to promote diversity in the workforce and on the outside. They believe that everyone has experienced some kind of struggle that can parlay into a success.
The Party wants their government to be upfront with its constituents. This way they can easily earn the trust of the residents of Connecticut. In turn, the residents will be willing to share their concerns without fear of backlash.
Some of the other things that the Connecticut Democratic Party is looking to achieve are:
An economic boost for the state which would include employment with comfortable salaries. Entrepreneurs will be able to start their own businesses and be competitive with other businesses. Keep current jobs retained within the state and refrain from outsourcing methods that can devalue the company.

Health care that everyone is able to afford throughout the state. Everyone in the state should be able to get access to a provider and receive quality health care.

State funding should be used to provide quality education for all children. This funding should start at the pre-K level and go all the way to adulthood.

For the housing market, the Party would like for everyone to have quality housing in every region of the state. That includes people and families whose incomes are on the low end.
A tax system in which all taxpayers give an adequate share of their taxes and none of them are overwhelmed with paying out too much tax.

The state’s energy policy should be one that is a proponent of Conserving Energy. This plan should also be able to implement different kinds of technologies that will assist with the needs of residents and businesses in Connecticut. It should also make sure that the environment and natural resources stay intact. That way, it can protect state residents from unnecessary price increases.

All of the above are part of the Party’s initiative for a better quality of life for all residents of the state of Connecticut. They believe that when these things are put into use, that they will benefit everyone.
